Are you unconsciously covering your chin? You're not alone!
Most woman experience hormonal changes...many of which cause unwanted hair growth. Hormonal changes alone are enough to deal with, but if you're also experiencing unwanted hair growth, please know that help is available.
There could be medical reasons for your unwanted hair. A common diagnosis for unwanted hair in women is Hirsutism. Hirsutism is excessive body hair in a masculine distribution pattern that may be a result of heredity, hormone dysfunction, glandular disturbances or medications.
Although many of our clients are recommended by a physician, referrals are not required. Some insurance companies even reimbursement electrology treatment costs associated with a medical diagnosis, but please understand that Unwanted Hair Solutions is not setup to file with insurance companies.

To Tweeze or Not to Tweeze?
When a women has centerline hair growth or male pattern hair growth (Chin, Chest, Abdomen) you should not tweeze as a means of temporary removal. Male pattern hair growth is usually caused by the male hormone testosterone which runs through the blood stream. The blood is the food for the hair, so when you tweeze, you are giving that hair more blood flow (and testosterone). That is why women who start tweezing usually find themselves with more and courser hair growth than when they started.
